Ode Porto delivered on every level.The service was attentive and knowledgeable, with excellent wine recommendations that perfectly matched the meal. The food was top-notch across the board, but the steak with 3-day cooked sauce was next level—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired with a series of great wines.To top it off, the chocolate fondant was rich, perfectly gooey, and balanced by the bright, homemade orange ice cream. A perfect finish to an incredible meal.If you’re in Porto, this place is a must.

We booked this restaurant before our trip in February 2024 and were so glad we did as not only is it small but it gets booked up quickly.The owner is delightful and we had really nice conversations with him. he is very knowledgable about the food and wines and we completely trusted him to make recommendations.The food was EXCELLENT. I would not hesitate to recommend and the next time I book a flight to Porto the next thing I will do is book a table here.

I've had the fortune of eating in many places in different countries, so I do have a good reference point. As many have mentioned, the food is extraordinary and the inside is beautiful however, I want to focus on a different perspective: the pride they put in everything they do. From their history to how the waiter uses a white glove to put you silverware, or folding your napkin when you get up, this place speaks to outstanding taste, hi standards cuisine, pride for what they serve and honor in handling culinary teachings. They take their commitment so serious that they could use a few smiles, which were shown right after we mentioned it to them. It is a great experience and an absolute delight in terms of culture, heritage and good manners.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfectly romantic—it couldn’t have been better! We had oysters, cod rice, pork rib rice, chocolate mousse and grandma's pudding. I suggest keeping a bit of bread to wipe the plates clean—no sauce should go to waste! The wine was also incredible.

Of the places we dined in our three days in Oporto, this was by far the best in every respect. Atmosphere, excellent service and upscale food and drink made this memorable experience. I give few five star reviews.

This place was outstanding. I’ve been to many very good restaurants round the world and this is one that is very high up there.They have an ‘ode’ to their mother and grandmother and to all those who cook - which I loved. The atmosphere was quiet and serene; but nicely so.The service was excellent, everyone was helpful and I’d make special mention to the sommelier who matched our taste with a perfect wine. And then opened a very special red to have a glass (I still love how passionate the Portuguese are about their wines and it makes me love Portugal even more).The price was very reasonable given what we had and I’d happily pay that again for the same quality meal.Overall, if there is one place that you need to go to in Porto, I’d be going here.

ODE Porto Wine House is a truly unforgettable dining experience. The historic setting, paired with exquisite cuisine and exceptional service, creates an atmosphere of pure elegance. The staff, particularly the knowledgeable and charming owner, Cristóvão, made us feel incredibly welcome and made the night extra special for my spouse's birthday. The food was divine, and the wine and port selections were simply divine. We were so impressed that the owner even took the time to write us a handwritten thank-you note! If you're looking for a truly special dining experience in Porto, ODE is an absolute must-visit.
